I don't really have anything new to report. Not feeling nauseous at all anymore which is great! My weight has remained the same even though my appetite has grown! Starting a prenatal yoga class on Saturday mornings which I am looking forward to.
Going for my next check up/scan with my gyne on Monday next week. So excited to see baby again!

1st fetal assesment scan @ 12 weeks 5 days

Oh my word what an amazing experience today's fetal assessment scan was. Everybody always tells how you nice it and it truly is amazing! Baby is absolutely 100% normal and perfect which we were obviously so happy about! It really feels real now! Was such a nice lady who did our scan (was not our usual gyne) and she really took the time to show us all the details. Brain, heart, legs, arms etc! She said she could see the sex, but we didn't find out! As long as it has 10 finger and 10 toes we are happy!!!
See video of baby who is now 6.6cms and weighs 70 grams! Quite amazing. There doesn't seem to be any sound for some reason. Also see some pictures below they gave us.
Very proud mom & dad to be today!
She also confirmed due date to be 23 July which is what our gyne said!

12 weeks!!!
YAY! So we made it to 12 weeks. Very chuffed. The little monkey decided to remind me yesterday that we are pregnant and I spend my day horizontal on the bed and then the couch.
Back to work tomorrow ;( Have had such a nice break and it could not have come at a better time. I am going to miss my afternoon naps!
Going for our big fetal assessment scan this week! Can not wait to see baby again!!! I think baby has grown alot since we last saw him/her at 9.5 weeks!

11 weeks
Back in Cape Town after a lovely holiday. Christmas in the Karoo with the Newtons and then 3 nights in Stilbay with the Gardners and Ferreiras! I felt almost perfect all holiday except for yesterday! I don't what happened, but it felt like I had food poisoning! Felt terrible! Better today but feel shattered! Can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight!
Praying very hard that this does NOT last because its terrible!
