The family’s first offical photoshoot taken at Unicorn by Penny Carolyn. Was lovely because I was pregnant with James so got some photos of my tummy too! Loved the way the photos came out.

Murray turns TWO - 8 July 2013

So, Murray turns 2. I remember this being such a cute age. Talking and really developing into a little man. We had Murray’s party at Café Sprig, the coffee shop that Shane and I ran when we first moved to Tzaneen. It was a cold day in July, but we had a great day. The theme was “Diggers”! My mom made the cake and I decorated it. Was fun.

I had also just found out that I was pregant with James! About 6 weeks at Murray’s birthday.

Umzumbe – June 2013

We all went to Umzumbe for Matt and Roger’s 40^th Birthday party. We stayed in Durban for 1 night on the way. I had a sneaky suspicion that I was pregnant so I went to the pharmacy to buy a test. So I waited till that night (the Friday night before the party) to take the pregnancy test. Shane went out with Matt and Rog and I stayed with Nikki. Test was obviously positive! I told Nix immediately! So I could not joll at the 40^th ;) A wonderful holiday either way!!!

Ofcalaco Bike Day – 19 May 2013

A lovely day spent out at the Ofcalaco Bike Day where Shane did the 20km ride. Muz jolled with Nowie and Eden on their bikes. Was lots of fun. Muz didn’t have a nap the whole day so napped on the way home. Bless him.

General update - just before 2 years old!

I just can't cope with the fact that Murray is nearly 2! He is such a big boy now. We put him in big boy bed not so long ago and he is starting to understand what going to the toilet is. He wees when he takes his nappy off when we say, go have a wee Muz. Too cute. And he loves his big boy bed. Reading books at night is his best and loves it when either mom or dad sit with him in bed and read. Such quality time.

We are planning on having a "Digger" party for him at Cafe Sprig in 2 months time with all his new little friends in Tzaneen.

Funny things Muz says at 22 months old.

I just know I am going to forget some of these things so I have to write them down. Murray is talking SO much I can't count all the words he is saying. He is putting 2 words together most of the time now and says some quite difficult words. Also some really funny ones.
